I guess I have a soft spot for Legal because I occasionally get gift cards for Legal at work, and I like how I can use them at the airport.

If you want a good place that's better than Legal, Summer Shack is better.

James Hook mainly caters to tourists. It's good, but overpriced. If you insist on eating at an overpriced business that caters to tourists, Barking Crab across the bridge has lower prices for similar quality food.
Maybe I'm being a snob, but you won't find me at Legal, Summer Shack or Barking Crab. "Fine" generally does not interest me when I dine out. B&G is another place that I don't find to be as good as it once was (hmm, maybe it is me after all; but then again it was only the early days that Lydia could be found in the kitchen), but I still enjoy it and would choose it over these places. For more casual, I haven't been in some time but I always enjoyed Belle Isle. And Neptune; I just can't deal with the long waits, although I do think they'll take your phone number and message you when your table is ready. Row 34 is another place I've enjoyed in the past, but haven't been back to in too long.
