Thinking about heading to the Maldives for our honeymoon from the East Coast USA. That being said, I know I should consider many things given the cost and trek to get there. Had a few questions for those who have been to PH Maldives. Would love any input!
- Is 8 nights (in PH Maldives) enough? The plan is to fly Qatar business round trip from the US to MLE, so hopefully the journey there will be less painful. I also plan to do a stopover in Qatar for 1-2 nights on the way back.
Also planning to go for 8 nights, was debating 10, but figured it'll be enough (though going in the summer so there is a risk of poor weather). I do dive and love to snorkel so I don't think I would be too bored.
Further questions for those who have been there - how's the mosquito situation?
Also, does the transfer and diving/activities code as non-Hyatt? Basically trying to decide if I should use my Hyatt card for the extra points or use the spend to likely meet or make a huge dent in a new sign up bonus on a credit card. Thanks!
