Well I'm pretty certain that it would be impossible to attach our bucket seat so that it faced forward as there is nothing at the front of the seat that you could loop the belt round to keep it in place.

Anyway have booked the two seats for now - will make a decision later about the third - will speak to Delta. Actually one of the problems for us is that the small a/c is in a 1/2 configuration such that you could not get three seats together. Sitting a 2.8 year old by themselves is not an option as she would wriggle out and the baby strapped in across the aisle during take-off is not too ideal either so may have little choice - despite the ongoing arguments on this site (but lets not reopen them )
