Abysmal service. I think as a first class award ticket with passenger with no status treatment was different than others ..... But that is just my opinion.
I would recommend filling out the form in the link provided upthread, and nice and politely plead your case. I would definitely request the point difference in fares to be redeposited, as you did not get the product you paid for. Regarding meal voucher/cash… I can’t see that happening after the fact. I would be happy with the 7500, point difference refund, and another bump in points (5K, maybe 7500?)
