How to "merge" two people avios accounts
--------------------------------------
ANSWER: It's not possible.

Hi all,
I would like to merge two IB+ accounts in a single one and then get tickets with those avios.
From the IB website it is not clear which steps to make so here I am asking for help.
I thought that adding beneficiaries would work, since the website says
---
Can another person use my Avios?
You can add beneficiaries to your Iberia Plus card so they can use your Avios for the programme services without you having to accompany them. You can change them whenever you want and update your list of beneficiaries directly by signing into iberia.com > Profile > Frequent companions.
---
But nothing actually works, I have added the beneficiary and did the same on the beneficiary account but nothing really happens. I guess it's not well written, IIUC that shouldmean that I can buy a ticket for the beneficiary and they can travel without me on the same ticket, I guess.
Moreover, IB's "gift" avios does not work on both accounts (they are very old so the issue does not lie in the 90 days block).
So I thought I might give it a try on BA's household account. It works over there but then I cannot transfer back from the BA's household account to just one IB+ account, so that doesn't work either. I cannot buy the flights via BA's website because taxes are way higher than IB's website.
I guess the only way left is using BA's "gift" avios function but that's limited to 27k transfer which is very meh
Do you have any other ideas to try? Thanks a lot
