I tried searching here for this answer but only got old info. Not sure if anything has changed.

My family and I are traveling to Norway this summer with a long connection in FRA. My wife and I are both Star Alliance Gold. We have 4 children. I know that as *G I can bring in one companion. So can my wife. So that takes care of two of my kids. But what about the other two? Can we purchase them a guest pass?

I see that I can purchase lounge access for my other two kids online for all global lounges except FRA and MUC. SO this doesn't help me.

I also see that the LH website says I can purchase a pass upon entry of the lounge in FRA. But then see in other parts of the LH website where this isn't allowed. I've also had issues in the past buying guest passes since my LH flights are ticketed by UA on 016 ticket stock. ("We can only do it for 220 Lufthansa tickets" is something I've heard in the past.)

Does anyone know what options I have? I am not trying to get all of my kids in for free and am happy to pay for the two additional. But seem to have a hard time getting info on whether or not this is possible in FRA on a 016 ticket.
