Award Ticket Change Question
Hello All

I have two business class awards in May DEN-CDG-AMS for 55,000 miles a ticket. We now want to change to DEN-CDG-BCN. I tried to call to change the award but since the award fares have changed to 200K a ticket the agent wouldn't let me make the change.

The friendly agent suggested that I simply cancel the CDG- AMS leg in Paris and buy a separate ticket.

Question - has anyone had any luck changing the destination on a Flying Blue Award ticket without the fare change?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
