If you drop on the French side, it will be in the French-sector car park, which is a short walk from the French side of the Terminal. The Swiss and French sectors of the terminal are both in the same building. The French sector is just a small part of the overall terminal, located at the Eastern end of the Terminal. Only flights to French domestic destinations leave from that section. BA flights to LHR leave from the Swiss side. It is just a short walk from the French side to the Swiss side. As long as you are allowed to cross (which you should do with a same or next day flight ticket from GVA to LHR, as per
thibderoc's post), you should be fine.
Not quite sure that I understand the reference to ZRH in the OP, though, if you are flying from GVA to LHR.
If you do have to get to the Swiss side from the French side by road, it is a bit of a pain as you have to get a taxi to back-track for 5 km or so back to the Ferney border post, and do another 5 km in the other direction to the Swiss entrance, so a 10km journey just to come back to a few meters to where you started from. I would have thought that a taxi should be able to take you all the way but, if not, there is a bus stop on the Swiss side just after the Ferney border post from where you can take a bus to the (Swiss side of) the airport.
