Adding onto this, Hyatt Centric has a great bar (called Cruise) that has deals for happy hour.

North Point is not a terribly posh place, one of the more 'local' neighborhoods on HK island. If your office is in Taikoo Place it's often a business traveler destination that's in between Central / Admiralty and East HK.
That being said, the building area that Hyatt is in is more new. Rooms are quite nice too when I stayed.

Taxis are incredibly easy to bring you back to your hotel as Hyatt is right off the highway, making it perhaps a 10 minute cab ride from Central.
