There are limited suites, and the amount of regulars and actually guests paying for a suite very unlikely to get a suite upgrade.
There are many many diamonds there.
1. Diamond (from stays not credit card), paying guests, regular
2. Diamond (from stays not credit card), paying, not regular
3. Diamond, (from credit card) paying, regular
4. Diamond (from credit card, paying, not regular
5. Diamond (from stays), points stay, regular
6. Diamond (from stay), points stay, not regular
7. Diamond (from credit card), points stay, regular
and so on, as you can see many layers
I didn't realise hotels could differentiate between Diamonds who got their status off the back of a cereal box or credit card and those who earnt it via stays?
