This deal was announced in Nov, and in the announcement the first properties to join included the ones in the canary islands.

4 Months later, not much has actually happened. The canary island properties appear when you search on IHG, but it goes to the iberostar website to do the booking. You don't get points, you don't get benefits, you can't book on points, you can't actually book under your IHG account. So other than some free advertising, zero has happened to integrate the Canary island properties into the IHG system at all, I assume the other first launch properties remain equally un-integrated ?

The only thing I notice is that the message on the iberostar website that basically disassociated those properties from anything to do with IHG at all, has now gone.
