I’ve never had a bad experience at PHs. The Golden rule is repeat guests >>>> first time guests. You’re clearly a long term and repeat guest so I would expect you would be treated accordingly.
One more great stay at the PHV this week with service getting even better.
Was contacted by Rocio one week before arrival with all the usual: welcome back to your Parisian home away from home, thank you for your loyalty, arrival time, offering services from the concierge if needed and so on plus apologising that my “preferred rooms” were not available (ie 2 standard suites which I like due to their layout and quietness as the only other one in the same corridor is the Diplomatic one) but to not worry they will try their best to get me one I will like.
Day before check in I could see in the App that I had been upgraded from a room (Deluxe for once as standard was not available when booking) to an Executive Suite). Nice check in confirming the upgrade and Globalist benefits.
Welcome gift even better than last times with the usual bottle of wine (Chablis), almonds, cashews, welcome card from Rocio and for once instead of a few macarons or fresh fruits a large plate of cheese (love it being French) and fresh bread:
Very nice and quiet suite even though I think (at least when travelling alone and for a short 1 or 2 night stay) I prefer a standard or Deluxe one with just one large room instead of 2 small ones? But nice gesture anyway (Deluxe suites were available so they proactively triple upgraded me). Didn’t use the in-room sauna but it makes a very nice shower:
Finally and as usual I loved the buffet breakfast. I had 2 guests joining me this time and had the nice surprise at check out that on top of my free Globalist breakfast I was not charged for their either.
Thank you PH!
