My experience transferring international to domestic, arriving on UA 863 this morning March 30. Landed slightly late at 8:11, made it to terminal 2 domestic gate 47 just before 9:30. Plenty of time to make my VA connection at 10:50. There were very few lines at any point throughout the journey, luckily. E-gates and customs were a breeze; waited maybe 10-15 minutes max at baggage claim. My bag needed to be retagged at the transfer desk as my tickets were on separate reservations, but the agent gave me no problems and it took her less than 5 minutes. I think perhaps I was lucky that there was already a T-bus waiting on the curb as I came out of the international terminal. I waited on it about 5 minutes before we were on our way to T2. Security was quick, less than 10 minutes. Quick walk to gate 47 even left enough time for a pit stop to brush my teeth. Happy travels everyone!
