I'm not surprised as to the identity of many posters nor the extent of their knowldge, given that I have had the privilege to have met everybody who has posted here in this topic (with the exception of
OzTraveller and
dannyr, I think - plus I've only spoken to
bravoecho) and probably around 70 FT'ers all up (about half of them regular posters on the QF Forum) - quite a diverse group of people, including those who have worked for airlines.
NM was referring to INTL flights, as I was referring to "lounge upgrades" obviously I am referring to Domestic ODUs.
Understood and granted. The OP,
og, was discussing Intl flights, as were most of the previous posters and me. You were the one who alluded to Dom ODU's and the inherent problem there. Perhaps you misunderstood my inference to reading
NM's point (as it pertained to Intl - his first paragraph), for which I apologise for my lack of clarity
