I am quitting and told me wife we are going no matter what, i have 10 days booked in june and sept, they dont allow kids under 6, we have a 7 month old so i may go both times as my wife cant go in june. As far as transportation, ground is about 4-500 roundtrip and flights per person are about that price. I’ll probably do the drive.
Just my 2 cents: based on my two prior safaris, 10 days in one location would be too long for me. But how many days you want to spend in a car is definitely a personal preference 🙂, and you could break it up with some days lounging by the pool instead of all game drives. I’d guess the trip in September would be better in terms of animal sightings due to the migration.
