Woeful WiFi at Extended Stay in Georgia

My associate is at an extended stay property in Georgia; he and other associates are scheduled to be there for work for months. They need to use the hotel’s WiFi for work, and they have to stay at that property for their corporate rate.

TownePlace Suites Savannah Midtown

To say that the WiFi is woeful would be charitable. The speed is quite slow and it’s not very reliable. Many of the associates have reached out to Marriott corporate but I don’t have details on any feedback they’ve received from corporate.

I am gathering information to perhaps consolidate feedback from the various people.

In an extended stay property which is only 3 floors high, do they usually put access points on 1 floor, such as the ground floor? I’m asking them to check signal strength and speed tests along the hallways and the different floors.

Besides doing a speed test, are there other metrics that would be useful to provide to Bonvoy?
