Since you are talking corporate rates, does your company offer an online booking tool such as Concur? This is really what these platforms were built to do, whereas the MR website is more of a B2C channel.
I actually have two rates to deal with, one is a University rate and the other is my contractor rate. Neither of which have a booking tool. They just supply a code for us to use. When I travel on personal travel, I use my AAA rate or one of my traveler rates. The website issue shows up for those as well.
