Air Europa carryon limits?

Does Air Europa typically weigh cabin luggage for intra-Europe business class?

We're flying Air Europa MAD-AMS in business and are trying to interpret their carryon limits. We'd each like to bring a standard suitcase and a personal bag. They list "Length x Width x Height: 55 cm x 35 cm x 25 cm (or the sum of the three dimensions does not exceed 115 linear cm)" which seems the same as the US size and "an accessory with maximum dimensions of 20 cm x 35 cm x 30 cm. It will be placed under the seat."

The issue is they have a weight limit of 14kg [2x14kg (total weight)] for the suitcase. 14kg is rather light, while 28kg is more than enough. What we're bringing would be fine on a US airline.
