I also recently flew Paris to Taipei ... in economy. Although I quite liked the flight, I would agree with some of Braniff's comments. Being *G, I enjoyed the Air France lounge in CDG. Meal service very rushed in economy as well. Very small quantity of wine served and getting a refill is difficult. Staff seems very busy and missed the gentle touch you often find on Asian carriers. The plane looked rather old.
All together it was just OK. I thought their business class was one of the best together with SG, but I don't think I would spend the extra € to try it.
