Had my first outbound flight out of A today.

Amazed with how bad/inefficient the security process is, for having all brand new equipment.

I don't quite understand the boarding pass scanners pre-TSA? Just to verify that you can wait in line?

I'm already not a fan of the automatic belt x-ray system (if there is a study showing these move more people through, i'd love to see it). These seem especially slow.

Long story short - there were maybe 10 people in line, but the bottleneck at the scanners caused the line to take probably twice as long as it should for being not very busy.
