I was looking at maybe using miles to buy a flight for tomorrow earlier today and got partway through booking the flight too see the seat map because just hitting "see seat map" from the search results didn't work. I didn't actually pull the trigger, but I still got an email saying my upgrade went through just now. Miles aren't missing and the ticket is in my name so it's definitely not funny business on my AAdvantage account. Just a random glitch?
