There are showers in that club, along with both champagne and vodka on ice and the 8 ounce (25 ml) tall narrow cylinder cans of Heineken. You'll also find the AF house cognac, armagnac and calvados. A bracing calvados along with a croissant or pain au chocolat is truly the breakfast of champions.
LHR is non-schengen so it will go out of 2E (as a previous post mentioned there are 3 - 2E wings (K,L,M) - train connects all and each have their own security) and you will have access to the AF Lounge in whatever area your LHR flight departs to.
Keep in mind that you'll have to go through EU immigration on arrival to be able to get your bags and then go through EU "exit" immigration again after you recheck to get through to 2E flight to LHR. It's not a big deal, but make sure you look for the "Access No 1" or SkyPriority lanes for immigration as they are (usually) quicker. France is also dealing with a lot of work stoppages lately as well. This doesn't seem to impact CDG (as opposed to ORY) but just another thing to be aware of.
Good luck and enjoy the lounge.
