Yes, you have to go through immigration. Most likely you will arrive from KCH in the main terminal building (either gate A or B). Just follow the sign to the immigration, which is usually without a queue. You can then connect to your international departure either at Gate C (satellite terminal requiring a bus transfer) or Gate G/H which is in the same main terminal building. 1 hr 40min is more than sufficient, if your flight is not delayed.
