The venue in the images is DevilCraft Kanda. It was the first DevilCraft outlet in Tokyo. It features 'Chicago-style' pan pizza. As you can glimpse from the image, it would pass in Chicago.

Whether you accompany me or not, I will spend some time there while in Tokyo; even if not on that Thursday.

* = I intended to spend the evening in Ikebukuro. But when three consecutive venues faltered either on non-smoking, English-comprehending, or wi-fi Internet access (to find a potential 4th venue), I bailed out on the J.R. Yamanote Line [clockwise] to go to Kanda.

DevilCraft Kanda is junk, so it makes sense that they serve Chicago-style deep pizza. My advice to everyone is to avoid junk while in Tokyo. There are some amazing, world-class pizza places in Japan.
