+1 for the rental car. Took the bus once. It was long ride and delayed. Uber was very unreliable. Our first visit was by Uber. Took over 30 minutes for the Uber to come. Decided to use the bus for the second visit. The bus was delayed and would not accept the DC metro card. We did not have the right amount of the cash. The bus driver took pity on us and let us ride for free.
