So I will have to plan our lounge split next month... we are 4 with me holding a *G, 2 PP memberships (with 2 guests each from Chase & Amex) and the US Amex Plat.

Options:
1. Go to the mediocre Menzies and ask the warden to put one guest on the other PP account
2. Give my son #1 my *G BP and ask him to guest mom into the SAS gold lounge; Go to the Pontus pop up and take son #2 as a guest.
3. Go to the pop up all together and cough up 1000 SEK to take 2 extra guests.

On the outbound we only have 70 minutes to connect, so I guess we won't bother, but on the way back we have 2h40m in the afternoon with 2 hungry teenagers...
Perhaps a favorite GUWonder can assist since I’m likely there more days than not in April unless something comes up before the end of this quarter or I agree to hit the slopes at Åre for once this season. I typically have an additional guest allowance that doesn’t go used when at ARN. Paying the surcharge for additional guests would take away from my enjoyment of the lounges, so I can see why you are looking for alternatives. 500 SEK buys a lot of Max burgers at ARN.

Do you have a US Amex Plat? While the minimum age for extra Platinum cards on the account in Sweden is set at 16 years of age, up to three US additional ones can be had for $175 and the eligibility age includes all or most teenagers. The Swedish Amex Platinum arrangement is pretty interesting since there really isn’t so much an annual fee as a monthly fee for the card as a consequence of Swedish regulation allowing cancellations of the card without future fee obligations. But the Swedish accounts are only approved if the person is listed as registered as resident in Sweden.

At least some of the staff have been moved over from the previous Amex lounge. Given the labor shortage they were facing before, it’s a good thing it’s more than just a bunch of the silverware that has been transferred.
