So the AA flight my wife has been assigned goes into JFK. She has been told by BA on the phone that 189 is fully booked. She has a car to collect at EWR. BA have assured her she can claim back the cost of the taxi from JFK to EWR.

From experience on here that sounds right. Am I correct in this?
