Funny about the rotational delay. The incoming YUL-LHR landed 40 mins late at 10:15 yesterday, which would seem like enough to get it turned round close to its 12:25 LHR-GIG departure time. Instead it left almost 4 hours late at 16:22.
The aircraft arrived on stand at 1022. If the time between than and the STD of 1225 is left than the ‘standard working time’ fora turnaround of the fleet type, then the difference can be added to any subsequent delay as ‘rotational’ but only up the limit of that difference. Any delay beyond that time needs to be allocated to one or several other categories, depending on what is causing the hold up.
