Hello all!
I'm travelling to Quito and Bogota this weekend and while I usually am ok with "winging it", travel to Latin America is different from North America or Europe.
Anyways, since most of the taxi bookings I've seen charge a premium for solo travellers, I'm wondering if there's an place for secure (well more so) for pre-paid taxi's in Quito or Bogota.
If so, I'm presuming it's fairly obvious and by arrivals? Is there something to look out for or a warning of what to stay away from?
Also, I'll need phone access for my mobile and would prefer to have service that works in both Ecuador, Quito and El Salvador. Not sure which service to look into and are these available at the airport or should I just get one after I've checked in at my hotel and such?
