I know you can’t use them on free nights normally, but you can with points bookings, so would the points bookings allow for club access the entire stay? Or just the two points-booked nights?
Club Access awards cannot be used with Free Night Certs, only with cash rate, cash plus points, and award points. If you book all 4 nights with Points, then a Club access can be applied to all 4 nights. But, if you book 2 nights on points and 2 nights on Free Night Certs, then the Club Access award cannot be applied to all 4 nights, only the points nights. You can always book 2 nights on points and 2 nights on FNC, 2 separate reservations. Apply Club Access Award to the 2 points nights. Then when check in, ask nicely if hotel can extend benefits to the other 2 nights, assuming you're willing to take the risk of not getting Club Access on the second 2 nights.
