To each his own. My knees hit the seat in front of me with 31-32" pitch and I'm willing to pay extra not to have that, especially when there's a large person in the middle seat reducing my space even further. I'm not looking to save every last dollar when I fly, but WN BS and EBCI are a poor value for me because being in 21C or 3C makes little difference to me. So WN generally does not work for me, but our great country offers exceptional freedom of choice, and for people like you for whom it works, great. But there are better values out there if you don't like smaller seats.
