Thank you for the very detailed response. With regard to my arrival details, I am scheduled to land at 12:20 pm (13:20) and have only a small wheeled suitcase and a camera bag. There is no urgency for me to get to the hotel, and a small difference in fare doesn't matter, but I do not want to pay as much as it costs for a taxi. I think I like your option 3 the best.

I was not considering taking a bus, but I noticed today that there is a CitiAir bus # 1962 that goes all the way directly to Banqiao. Although it make something like 11 stops, there would be no transfers involved like with the MRT. What is your opinion of the bus?
