Thanks , thats high while being very cheap compared to competition , flights to argentina are high as hell , it used to be possible before covid to find tickets around 500 euros , mostly with AM or DL or AZ , and sometimes UX but i guess we can forget about such price
I think Argentina's problem is their two-tiered FX system rather than COVID and its aftermath.
Because the official and black rate FX rates are so different, an Argentine booking a 500 euro fare - paying in pesos - the airline might only end up with 250 euros (and that's assuming they can repatriate the money...)
Even though it should theoretically be possible to stop Argentines paying in pesos for European POS tickets, I'm sure enterprising Argentines and travel agencies would figure out a way... Easier for the airlines just to charge more to everybody...
