A dream. I still get emotional thinking of my experience there. Culture, adventure, meditation the lodges are each a unique experience in their own way. I recommend all 5. Some warmer climates, others cooler and higher in elevation. But all so cozy and intimate. The experiences are authentic, the team will leave an impression in true AMAN fashion.

I will be sharing a full review, virtual tour on all 5 lodges in the coming weeks.. but I visited December-January for the holidays, which is sort of their shoulder-season. I have clients who are planning on visiting in November to experience the festive period, particularly for the festivals in Bumthang. Spring seems perfect and you may still be able to see the black-necked cranes in Gangtey.
