I will be staying at the Hilton Taipei Sinban and want to go from TPE to the Banqiao station by the hotel using the MRT and high speed rail. I have found conflicting information as to whether the easycard can be used for the HSR portion of that trip. Some websites say that easycard is not accepted for HSR, some say that it is, and some say that it is but only for a co-branded easycard credit or debit cards. Can someone please advise which is correct? Thank you.
