Do we need to pick up bags from International to International Transfer at EWR on UA?
A few days ago, I came from SKB (Caribbean) to YYZ (Canada) via Miami on AA. I was told that I did nit pick up bags for same day transfer.
Today, my wife is coming from SKB to YYZ via EWR- with same day transfer.
She has been told at SKB that she has to pick up bags?
Was she given the correct info on picking the bags at EWR?
If yes, does that mean that for international airports to US airport to different International destinations- different rules apply to different airports and/or different airlines in pick up bags for such connections?
