99% likely no issue.

If its a busy flight and your boarding group 4-9 expect 'pressure' at the gate to check the bag, That seems vary from an announcement to actively 'asking' customers to do so......groups 1-3 usually don't get hassled in my experience.

They will also likely need enforcing the number of carry on pieces, saw somebody yesterday trying to squash their duty free shopping and coffee shop snack into a laptop bag as they refused to check their carryon when asked.
