Creating a dedicated thread for the upcoming Abesq Doha Hotel & Residences now that the property page is online at the attached link. IHG's search engines say it's taking room reservations from March 31st, but the earliest availability I found was April 16th with rates of 611 QAR per night.

This property was supposed to open as Kimpton Al Rowda Doha, and serve as the first Kimpton in the Middle East; it even went far enough to have the logos placed on the exterior, so I wonder why the change of brand happened. The entry-level room even follows the brand standard lingo as an Essential Room, so I reckon it might operate on an unbranded basis until it attains Kimpton branding or just slot under the Vignette Collection.
