UK eGates still don't work for me, even though my new passport finally has the hard plastic page rather than the flimsy one on the old one that get getting crumpled. Works flawlessly in Singaporean and Australian eGates, but doesn't work at either LHR or EDI. Reads immediately om Border Force reader too, so not an issue with the chip. Is it just the UK eGates have really rubbish software compared to other countries? Pretty frustrating when there's a big queue for the manual check. Also very annoying that UKBF don't seem willing to admit there's a problem!
