Only domestically from what I understand.
BA for a while were trialing (think they stopped) eink alongside RFID. So could show a barcode and destination. Being eink only needs energy to change image not persist it so the energy from the NFC from phone was enough.
Think IATA and SITA are working on more airline & airports interoperability on baggage tracking.
