The closest WM is about 20 min from me in Long Island. I don't mind making the trip if it means there's an opportunity to rack up some points. I guess it's a matter of trying and seeing what happens.
My next set of questions has to do with setting up another bank account to deposit the MOs. From my understanding I should set up a bank account outside of my normal accounts in case there's a freeze my regular account won't be effected correct?
Are there any banks you guys would suggest using? I see people mentioning that they use credit unions. Not sure if this is something that really matters or not. I guess I'm just trying to see if there are certain banks that might tolerate 1k MO deposits 1 to 2x a month without raising any red flags. I think there might be an HSBC close to the WM. Anyone have any experience using them?
I've also never delt with MOs before but I'm curious if they are exactly like checks. Can I just make a deposit using a bank app or would I need to go to the bank in person?
