I’m booked in J (cash not mileage ticket) and the flights were booked through AA, hence why the JL flights are AA marketed. There is indeed the JL record locator beneath my JL segments, however, it still won’t pull up my reservation on JL’s international website. I get the same error that was posted above.
As to my original question - the workaround to this was one used to be able to go to Malaysia Airlines website and use the JL record locator and it would pull up and you could assign seats. I did this as recently as a few months ago. However, I’m not able to pull it up for my trip next month, so curious if others have noticed this change and if this workaround has been officially closed?
