Keisei Skyliner and Access Express from NRT terminate at Keisei Ueno but the station is not connected to JR Ueno station. It’s best to connect to JR in Nippori which is one stop before Ueno. Keisei trains from NRT uses platform 0 at Nippori. There are two elevators on the platform. Go up to the JR Line Connecting Gate.
And follow one of the red routes to platforms 9/10 for Tokyo and Kanda. Both Yamanote Line (green) and Keihin-Tōhoku Line (blue) trains go to Kanda.

Slightly off topic but if you’ve seen Japanese tourists outside the country many of them carry very large suitcases. You don’t see them carrying large cases even on Narita Express because many of them use takkyubin to send their bags home. They send skis, golf clubs and even souvenirs they buy when travelling by takkyubin. One reason why long-distance Japanese trains don’t have much luggage space.
Believe me I used to travel to Japan with a large rolling suitcase (to bring back Japanese food) and often struggled at some railway stations.
