The DC-10 holds a special place in my heart. First, it was on a DC-10 that I got to fly business class for the very first time, thanks to my dad's AAdvantage Gold status (back when that was the top tier). Sitting in those big puffy brown loungers, I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Second, it was on that flight (from JFK) that I looked out the window and saw the Concorde for the first time, which made this young AvGeek's heart flutter.
Last time I was on an AA DC10 it was in the main cabin on a red-eye HNL/Mainland with some dude who fell asleep next to me encroaching into my space. I though I'd not died but was in hell nonetheless.
