Unfortunately, any AA-operate flight is a predictable story of flights showing as cancelled because they changed flight numbers or seemingly cancel only to rebook with or without timetable change by 2 minutes or whatever! Then it is reinstated with or without a different flight number! So unless you keep checking all the time, you'll get cancellations that then lead to rebookings which are not necessarily sensible if flights are not reinstated at the same time!
