Hey, S.R ! I just stayed at both the Ritz and Conrad - neither are close to the "city" if, by city, you mean Old Town and Galata. The Ritz is closer to the Nisantasi residential and shopping district, but even that is up a big hill. I would pick the Conrad (don't tell Marriott that I'm saying this) to take advantage of the lounge and breakfast if you have Honors status. The Ritz was nice but not enough to justify the lounge access restrictions. If you're looking for something closer in, I don't know about Hilton options, but there were some good Marriott options - I enjoyed Adahan Pera and Orientbank is great if you want to be in Old Town.
