If you are eligible for fast track through security, make sure to find the door for fast track and be assertive. It helps if your boarding pass specifies fast track, although (assertively) waving a business class ticket usually works too. As others have mentioned, passport control and security lines can be quite long, and signage (and staff helpfulness) can be hard to spot.

Same applies to arrivals, business class passengers may be eligible for an essentially unadvertised fast track through passport control. Once you know it's there, be assertive. Be assertive!
