I might extend my trip as I see potential for F on the non stop to LAX.

if I知 holding HND-SFO F, and then see HND-LAX F, departing 2 days later do I need to call AS for the change, or can I book the HND-LAX and then cancel HND-SFO once JAL confirms the LAX tickets?
(I have sufficient miles in my wife痴 account, we are both traveling).

I知 worried that JAL won稚 confirm the LAX tickets because they think I知 double booked if I知 still holding HND-SFO departing a couple days before.

Alternatively, worried that someone else would grab the tickets while I知 on a lengthy hold with AS.
