In fairness, the Supercharger network has expanded quite a bit in the 3-4 years since you did that trip, as have charging speeds, so I imagine that it would take less time to make the trip. Looks like you can do it today with the longest stretch between superchargers at 120 miles.
With that said, cross-country driving is definitely not where EVs shine.
