Amex Premium Car Rental Insurance versus Visa Signature Car Rental Insurance
I have used American Express Premium Car Rental Insurance on my rentals for several years, willingly paying the $19.95 add-on fee per rental to do so. Recently, Capital One advertised that they offer Visa Signature Car Rental Insurance for free. What are the pros and cons for it compared to Amex?
My situation is that I am looking at renting some cars overseas in the next few months and my Amex comes with a foreign transaction fee, whereas Capital One does not.
Thanks!
